Dennis Hogan was appointed Chief Executive Officer for Foodbuy in May 2018, returning to the United States after serving for four years as the Managing Director for Compass Group United Kingdom and Ireland. As the Managing Director, Dennis oversaw the UK’s largest food services firm, directing and implementing strategic growth initiatives for the region. With more than two decades of global Compass Group experience, Dennis has held a variety of finance and accounting leadership positions across the Compass Group portfolio.

Prior to his international assignment, in 2009, Dennis was promoted to CEO for Canteen Vending Services, where he was instrumental in positioning Canteen as an industry leader in the vending business. In 2002, Dennis was selected to join the Compass Group North America Officer Board after serving as the Senior Vice President of Finance for three years. As SVP of Finance, Dennis helped to facilitate the acquisition of Foodbuy, which would bring him full circle to his role as CEO. Dennis first joined Compass Group in 1996 as a Senior Manager of Strategic Planning.

Dennis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from James Madison University, and also received a Master’s Degree in Finance from the University of Illinois. In 1998 he completed and passed the CPA exam.

Dennis is married with four children and resides in Charlotte, NC.
